We created CARU to empower older adults to age in place, enhancing their quality of life and building a sustainable future for our aging society.
With our digital flatmate we help older adults enrich, improve and manage their day through simple voice commands such as «Hilfe - Hilfe!» (emergency call) and «Hallo CARU!» (Family Chat). Furthermore, CARU detects anomalies in their daily routines by integrated sensors and AI, and informs trusted people.
I joined the company in its very early stage, four months after the B2B launch in the DACH region. Right after the beginning of the Corona Pandemic in March 2020 we launched CARU also on the B2C market in Switzerland. Besides the B2C market entry I built up the marketing & communication department, implemented a brand refresh and have been responsible for the branding, digital marketing, PR & corporate communication.
